State Drama Festival
The State Drama Festival celebrates classroom drama achievements of students in Kindergarten to Year 12. This event is a 2-day celebration of drama works showcasing strong drama outcomes in classrooms from across the state. Over 800 students participate in a range of dramatic styles.

NSW Public Schools State Drama Festival 2023
The 2023 NSW Public Schools State Drama Festival celebrates classroom drama achievements of students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The Festival runs across 2 days – Thursday 26 October to Friday 27 October, with over 800 students participating from across the state.

Thursday 26 October at 7:00 pm–evening performance
Friday 27 October at 11:00 am –secondary matinee
Friday 27 October at 7:00 pm– evening performance
Venue
Seymour Centre, Chippendale
Tickets
Audience tickets will go on sale through the Seymour Centre in Term 3 2023.

Workshops
In 2023 The Arts Unit will run State Drama Festival workshops be led by professional practitioners from our Festival partners, NIDA.
Workshop bookings will open in Term 3 2023.

Festival clothing
Pre-ordered clothing sales will open in Term 3 2023.
A limited number of t-shirts will be available to purchase in the foyer at State Drama Festival 30 minutes prior to each performance.

School nominations
School nominations will open in Term 2 2023.

$120.00 including GST per item.
