ALYSON EVANS: Hello. My name is Alyson Evans, and I am a theatre maker and a teaching artist. In my practise, I have worked with both young people and adults with a whole range of disability, both in creating theatre but, also within the classroom.

In this arts bytes model, I'll talk to you about how you can enhance the engagement of students with disability using drama as pedagogy. And also, we'll explore using drama activities as a tool for classroom management. To engage students in the classroom, there are some simple and beneficial ways that you can enhance their learning that is beneficial to all students, including those with a disability.

The following strategies will give you some tips into how to do this. By building the following strategies into your teaching, you can help build a safer environment when including practical activities into your classroom.
