SPEAKER: Hello, and welcome to The Arts Unit Creative Class, Inspire Me. Today, you will see how a real world event inspired an artwork by Matthew Quick called 'Intrepid Travellers' and an orchestral music piece created by Katy Abbott, called 'Introduced Species.' You are then going to be inspired by this stimulus material to create your own artwork called 'A Seascape' and then compose a soundscape full of city sounds. I hope you enjoy being so creative.
