LIZ SCOTT: One hand like this, in front of you. We're going to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle'. (singing) Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
(speaking) One syllable per finger. Here we go. 1-- Oh look, yeah. Here we go. 1, 2, ready, go.
STUDENTS: (singing) Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high. Like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are.
LIZ SCOTT: Good. You're going to leave out the note and the syllable every time you touch this finger. So-- (singing) twinkle, twink-- little--
(speaking) Got the idea? Here we go. 2-- ready, go.
ALL: (singing) Twinkle, twink--
LIZ SCOTT: No.
STUDENTS: (singing) --little star.
LIZ SCOTT: Let's have another try. So don't sing on this one. 1, 2, ready-- and--
STUDENTS: (singing) Twinkle, twink-- little star. How-- wonder what you-- Up above the-- so high. Like a -mond in the sky. --kle, twinkle, li-- star. How I won-- what you are.
LIZ SCOTT: Beautiful. Now, we're going to leave out this one again and this one. So you're only going to do every second one. All right? So fingers 2 and 4, leave out. Here we go. 1, 2, ready. And--
ALL: (singing) Twink--
STUDENTS: Twink--
LIZ SCOTT: So, it's just -- hang on for a second. You have to have all 5 fingers out.
[students laughing, chattering]
Otherwise, it's called cheating-- intelligent cheating, but cheating. You must have all 5 fingers like this. Here we go. 1, 2, ready. And--
