As Film By the Eucalypts enters another year, the spirit of creativity and storytelling burns brighter than ever. Join in to support and celebrate the incredible talent of students in the Blue Mountains area, and beyond.

Gala day

Each year, Film By the Eucalypts runs a gala day to support the teaching and learning for the students. In 2023, this was held on 22 June. Students participated in editing, scriptwriting, acting, sound and green screen workshops. The day was a huge success, with students commenting that they had learnt so much more about filmmaking and couldn't wait to submit their film. Scroll down to see some photos of the day! Film By provides teachers and students with filmmaking skills and expertise to tell their own stories. The program includes festivals, workshops and professional learning opportunities in film for teachers and students from all schools in NSW.
