2023 Film Festival tickets are now on sale

This year, the film festival will be held on 9 November at the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub. Purchase tickets directly from The Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub. We look forward to sharing a fun night celebrating the next generation of filmmakers.

Gala day

Each year Film By the Eucalypts runs a gala day to support the teaching and learning for the students. This year, the day was held on 22 June 2023. Students participated in editing, scriptwriting, acting, sound and green screen workshops. The day was a huge success, with students commenting that they had learnt so much more about filmmaking and couldn't wait to submit their film. Scroll down to see some photos of the day! Film By provides teachers and students with filmmaking skills and expertise to tell their own stories. The program includes festivals, workshops and professional learning opportunities in film for teachers and students from all schools in NSW.
